Connecting businessman in the microalgae field with the aim to discuss and collaborate for the commercialization of microalgae in new sectors. HTR and Nextchem are associate members of AISAM.
Organizations attending: Several Italian companies, research centers and universities, members of AISAM and involved in microalgae cultivation and processing attended the workshop.
Nextchem prepared an oral presentation to disseminate the MEWLIFE project results as input to discuss on the legislative about microalgae sector grown in wastewaters. The conference was organized in several speech from representative of Public bodies and industries both producing microalgae and using microalgae biomass for their products. Discussion on the potential support from the AISAM association to help microalgae producer to define new directives regarding use of different raw materials to use in the cultivation step.
